Elosie Duboise Bailey, 88, of Plant City, died Thursday (Dec. 27, 2001) at home. Born in Plant City, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a teacher for the Hillsborough County School District for 38 years, a member of First Baptist Church of Plant City, Mary Martha Sunday School Class, Springhead Civic Club, Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, East Hillsborough County Historical Society, and a former member of Plant City Art club and Plant City Women’s Club. Survivors include her husband, David E.; a son, David, Plant City; a daughter, Myranda Bailey Cox, Lakeland; and a brother, Quentin DuBois, Plant City. Haught Funeral Home, Plant City.
