Robert Donald Ware, 70, of Summerville, SC, a retired roofing consultant, died Tuesday morning in a Summerville hospital.

A memorial service will be held at a later date according to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner.

Mr. Ware was born July 28, 1952, in Homerville, GA, a son of Bennie F. Ware, Sr., and Mary Catherine Tomlinson Ware. He was a graduate of both Lord Berkeley Academy and Coker College where he played basketball throughout his collegiate career. He also loved both flower and vegetable gardening, fishing, and spending time in the outdoors in general. Mr. Ware was preceded in death by a son, Robert Jason Ware, and his brother, Bennie F. “Frankie” Ware, Jr.

Surviving are his son, Jeremy Ware of Moncks Corner; a step daughter, Mandi Warren and her husband, Travis, of Moncks Corner; a sister, Linda Mann and her husband, Wayne, of LaFayette, GA; a brother, Wayne Ware of Moncks Corner; and three grandchildren, Aubrey K. Ware, Kayleigh Warren, and Hunter Warren.

York, South Carolina – Susan Robinson Huntley, 67, of York, SC passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021.
Susan was born on January 17, 1954 in York County, SC. She was the daughter of the late Carroll and Peggy Robinson.
Susan was a graduate of York High School, Coker College, and Appalachian State University. She taught middle school English in York School District One for more than 30 years. Susan was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, nana, teacher, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Susan is survived by her husband, Dan Huntley, daughter, Lauren Klepinger and her husband Kris, son, Daniel Huntley and his wife Truin, sisters, Cindy Whitesides and her husband Steve, Leigh Alexander and her husband Nelson, and three grandchildren: Ava Klepinger, Jasper Huntley, and Jenny Klepinger. She is also survived by her niece Ashley Pittman, nephews Ryan Alexander, David Whitesides, Mark Whitesides, and great-niece Ella Pittman.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church’s Ladies’ Parlor and other times at the daughter’s home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 1, 2021 in the First Presbyterian Church sanctuary with the Reverend Nick Setzer officiating. Please wear a mask to the visitation and service if you are able.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 10 West Liberty St. York, SC 29745.

Mr. William Wayne Sims, 80, of Hartsville, passed away Friday morning, November 13th, 2020, while surrounded by his girls.

A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 14th, 2020, from Magnolia Cemetery with Reverend Ken Hughes officiating.聽 The family will be speaking with friends following the service at the graveside.

Mr. Sims was a son of the late Jesse Ray and Loris Teal Sims.聽 He graduated from McClenaghan High School of Florence, later graduated from Coker College, earned his Master红桃视频檚 Degree from Golden Gate University, then became an auctioneer while attending Southeastern School of Auctioneering.聽 Wayne was appointed by Governor Carol Campbell on the Foster Care Review Board and was a state official for the high school football league.聽 He also coached the Hartsville Dixie Youth Baseball.聽 Later, Governor Mark Sanford appointed him as a Trustee of the Wil Lou Gray Opportunity School.聽 Mr. Sims proudly served our country in the Army National Guard and was a member of the Hartsville Masonic Lodge #173, member of the Darlington County Red Fez Club, and the Jolly Jeepsters.聽 Also, he was聽a longtime member of Lakeview Baptist Church.聽聽Wayne was employed with Sonoco Products Company and later retired from Florence-Darlington Technical College; where he made many friends over the years.聽 Wayne was also a ham聽radio operator who enjoyed talking with people all over the world.

Mr. Sims is survived by his wife, Edna Young Sims of the home; daughters, Lori Sims (Randy) Lowe and Melode Sims (Cone) Manuel of Hartsville; grandchildren, Seth (Peyton) Lowe of Hartsville and Collin Manuel of Augusta, Georgia; brother, James Russel 红桃视频淭ootie红桃视频 (Marlene) Sims of Florence; also numberous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Trellis Ray 红桃视频淏ud红桃视频 (Ethel) Sims.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to his doctor and longtime friend, Dr. T. James Bell, the caring staff聽of the Retreat at Carolina Bay, and Amedisys Hospice.
