Margaret Elizabeth Bellamy 66, passed away April 24, 2023, surrounded by her loving husband and daughters.聽Marbie was born September 3, 1956, to John and Mary McGarry in Kingston, New York. After graduating high school, she went off to study education at Coker College in South Carolina where she met the love of her life, Edward.

Marbie and Ed were married in 1980 and settled down in Ballston Spa, NY after purchasing a family owned print shop. They welcomed their first child in 1983, Jessica followed by James, Magan and Kathryn. Marbie dedicated her life being a wonderful mother and designer for their business, Messenger Press. She was the foundation of our family and thrived at being a mother and her favorite role, Mimi, to her six grandchildren. She was an excellent gift giver, never missed a special date, loved the outdoors and music. Marbie could always be found running circles around everyone. Whether it was working in the garden, hiking, or relaxing on her deck she helped to build, doing anything outside was always her favorite.

Marbie红桃视频檚 family was big, just like the love she had for all of them. She lit up every room she walked into, her laugh and smile were infectious. She loved to cook and entertain and keep herself surrounded by those she loved. Marbie will be greatly missed by so many.

Marbie was predeceased by her parents, Mary and John, brothers, Jack and Peter, and sister, Pat. She is survived by her husband, Edward, children Jessica (Danny) Hayward, Magan (Josh) Wittemeyer, Kathryn Bellamy, and James Bellamy, as well as the lights of her life, her grandchildren, Sylas, Sadye, Xavier, Kateri, Knox, and Finn, siblings Jim (Jean) McGarry, Charlie (Jan) McGarry, Tom (Marlayne) McGarry, and Marylee (Albert) Queen, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30am Saturday, May 6 at St. Mary红桃视频檚 Church, 167 Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa.. There will be a celebration of life following at the families home.聽In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Marbie may be made to聽听辞谤听.

Sara McAlister Holden passed away on May 3, 2021. She was a loving and wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, cousin, friend, aunt, and grandmother. Sara was born May 2, 1956 in Greenwood, South Carolina to Avander Vonnie McAlister, Jr. and Dorothy Seigler McAlister. She was a graduate of West Florence High School, Coker College, and East Carolina University. Sara taught special education in North and South Carolina and attended Westminster Presbyterian Church for many years.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents and an older sister. She is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Charles A. (Duke) Holden, III; three sons, Vann and Laura Holden of Chapin, SC; Richard and Deborah Holden of Whispering Pines, NC and Zachary Holden of the home; and four grandchildren who she loved very much: Margot, Gus, Jack, and Lily.

She is also survived by her extended family including Joetta and Terrell Floyd, Mark and Lisa Blackwell, Carey and Herman Walker, Eddie and Shirley Seigler, Tommy Seigler, Dow and Janice Holden, Drew and Crystal Holden, and Jane and Tom Richardson. She also leaves behind numerous friends who treated her as family including Charlie and Sissy Spann, Dennis and Linda Sullen, Billy and Jane Serues, and Jay Altman.

A visitation will be held at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home on May 6 at 1:00 PM, immediately followed by a celebration of Sara红桃视频檚 life at 2:00 PM.聽 Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rotary International or Special Olympics.

Sara/Mom/Grandma was a joyous woman, and she was loved by so many. We are thankful to have spent this time with her and look forward to being with her again one day.

CPT Bobby Lee Chandler, US Army (Ret), 77, of Columbia, died Saturday, September 28, 2019. Born on May 19, 1942, in Greer, SC, he was the son of the late F. Truman Chandler and Ruth Suddeth Chandler. Mr. Chandler was a US Army Vietnam veteran having retired with 21 years of service. He was a member of Shandon Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Head Usher, and on the Baptism Committee. His infectious smile and compassionate spirit welcomed all who came to his home and church. Bobby truly lived to serve his church. He will be missed by many.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 57 years, Marlene E. Morgan Chandler; son, Jeffery T. Chandler (Celinda); grandchildren, Taylor, Madison and Logan Chandler; brothers T. Lynn Chandler and J. Larry Chandler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gregory K. Chandler.

The funeral service for Mr. Chandler will be held 12:30 o红桃视频檆lock, Friday, October 4th, 2019 at Shandon Baptist Church. Burial with full military honors will follow at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:30 o红桃视频檆lock in The Gathering Place at the church. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shandon Baptist Church, 5250 Forest Drive, Columbia, SC 29206.

Central,SC Born 聽04/05/1957 11/29/2016 Obituary / Death Notice Raymond Charles Timmerman, 59, passed away on Tuesday November 29th at his home in Central, SC. Raymond was born in Jackson, SC on April 5th, 1957. After earning a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he served as a Southern Baptist minister in churches throughout South Carolina, Georgia, and Arkansas. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Jean Timmerman of Jackson, SC. Raymond is survived by his loving wife Teresa Nix Timmerman of La France, SC; his children, Jon Timmerman (Laura) of Central, SC, Tabitha Burch (Stephen) of Seneca, SC, Jessica Timmerman of Central, SC, and Summer Timmerman of Central, SC; and one grandchild Autumn Burch. Raymond is also survived by his three siblings Steven Timmerman (Kay) of Aiken, SC, Valorie Girard (Kevin) of Longmont, CO, and David Timmerman (Tiara) of Windsor, SC. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday December 11th, 2016 at the Bryant Lodge on Southern Wesleyan University’s campus on Thomas Lane in Central, SC at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NewSpring Church, PO Box 1407, Anderson, SC 29622 or to Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
