I began my year with a three week trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. The tour included stays in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, sum Reap, Angkor Wat and Bangkok. Eight days of the trip was a river cruise on the Mekong river. Air travel timeºìÌÒÊÓƵ”long! But a wonderful experience in a part of the world that I knew so little about. Shortly after my return home, Beverly Touchberryand I traveled to Florence to have a fried oyster dinner with Sherrill JordanºìÌÒÊÓƵ”my birthday dinnerºìÌÒÊÓƵ”SherrillºìÌÒÊÓƵ™s treat. The three of us will gather in Summerville for BeverlyºìÌÒÊÓƵ™s birthday.
