Who would have ever thought that we would be living in a Pandemic during our lifetimes? As the days and weeks pass by I am spending more time reconnecting with old friends and acquaintances than ever before. We are sharing wonderful memories, some tears over sad ones, and lots of laughter in between. My hope is that you are doing the same because this is an unforeseen opportunity that we cannot ignore.
Nancy Baker Bell thanks her beautiful classmates for all the love and support upon the loss of her beloved son, James, in January. 红桃视频淲e are lifted and sustained by kindness of friends and happy memories. We红桃视频檙e sequestered at Blufton with Jimmy back and forth to front lines in Hartsville. We are well and pray all of you are safe and healthy also. Our girls红桃视频� families are coming to the river for Spring break so we红桃视频檒l be playing games, boating and enjoying social distancing on the dock. My very best to all.红桃视频�
Susan Reinhard Allred is adapting to being alone with the passing of her husband, Tom, this past Fall. She红桃视频檚 become quite the survivor, distancing with her neighbors, walking and tending her flower beds. She will be glad when this is all over so she can visit with friends, get hugs and have a meal out!
Barbara Nexsen Lansche wants us all to know one important thing红桃视频焯沂悠禎We are directed to pray红桃视频or God红桃视频檚 will, for our world, for each other, and for ourselves.红桃视频� She has been reflecting on how special our times at Coker were and prays for all of us until we can meet again, please know that you are loved.
We also share in the grief of Judy Brown Pigg on the passing of her husband Wayne whom many of us knew when we were students at Coker. Judy hopes that everyone is staying well and safe and not going too crazy with all this stay at home business. She红桃视频檚 worked puzzles, read books, and watched enough movies and TV to last her a lifetime! She红桃视频檚 looking forward to a time when our class can gather again and enjoy catching up.
I chatted with Martie Dobson White and learned that she and Jim are both doing fine. She红桃视频檚 praying that all our classmates and families are staying safe and well throughout this event.
It appears that the Coker College Class of 1968 is now definitely a 红桃视频減art of History红桃视频� as we journey together through this Pandemic.
