Research Background
My research background includes areas of genetics, molecular biology, fungal biology, plant pathology, and microbiology.  My colleagues and I have initiated CokerºìÌÒÊÓÆµ™s Bioremediation Center, where students conduct research on microbes that have the potential to help clean up harmful pollutants in the environment, including diesel fuel and microplastics.  

Favorite Thing about being a Cobra
The opportunity to engage bright and curious students on such a beautiful campus nestled in a community surrounded by natural beauty is my favorite thing about being a Cobra.
